Reuben is also no worse than Trent Richardson and I seem to recall Saban mentioning Trent having over a 3.0 GPA in a business major. How the hell he managed that is still a mystery to me

Not if a team speaks with him for more than 5 minutes. Low football IQ is not a desirable trait

Well I mean, Cam Newton went first overall.

Clem Haskins left the University of Minnesota with a seven-figure settlement. James Brooks left Auburn University without a seventh-grade education.

If James Brooks can't read, it's at least in part because his coaches valued his legs more than his learning. If Auburn University does not share in the blame for Brooks' failure to provide for his children, it surely shares in the shame of his illiteracy.

Since you like digging up articles on illiterate players, you should dig up the article written by former Alabama student trainer Williams Bradford Huie that talks about Alabama having an entire football team full of such players in the 40's and 50's. I know that was a long time ago but so was James Brooks career at Auburn
