I'm glad the coaches aren't equal

Texas A&M should be in the conversation, when it comes to the best looking teams at the moment.

Just my opinion but I think Alabama, LSU, Georgia and A&M look very strong right now. I am waiting until this weekend to have an opinion on Ole Miss because I have not seen them play this year.

I don't know much about UGA, but I see the comparison. I think LSU and Bama have different strengths on defense. Both are good overall defenses but Bama has the stronger front 7 while LSU has the stronger secondary.

It's too early for anyone to be hyped

I agree but having seen them play I'd add Ole Miss as well. But obviously as the season goes we will find out who all these teams really are.

I honestly agree with you on that. It's hard to like our offensive play calling

I think LSU (and probably Bama) have better receivers (definitely better depth) than we do. Agree on the questionable QB play. I think Bama has the strongest D line out of the group for sure, and we probably have the best LB core. I think what you're saying overall is pretty fair though.

yes. success and failure in previous seasons is in part due to disparities in talent and injuries. when the playing field is more even, you can see who the better coach is.

So what you are saying is Freeze > Saban

No,

At the very least, its much closer than you are willing to admit. 2010 and 2011 is really what separates the 2.

Gotta give Miles the nod above Richt but it's pretty close.

Bama DL + UGA LBs + LSU DBs = GOAT defense

Can we consider Miles' 78% winning percentage while at LSU in the West vs Right's 74% winning percentage coaching UGA in the East since we have to dismiss the natty and SEC championships?

Lsu Dline's lack of depth is disturbing.

If the recruit that followed Chavis to A&M had kept his commitment to LSU and if hunter and Alexander has not left early for NFL. I would have bet my soul against a bag of donuts that LSU would win the SECCG

Shhh let the adults speak.

You must have at least two SEC Championships from the Georgia Dome to ride this rollercoaster.

It really is too early to tell but I will say that LSU as a small lead in the QB department.

At least that's my gut feeling. We don't know how Harris is going to look this year because he didn't get a shot to throw the ball much, but I think UGA knows for sure they have a problem at QB based on the Vandy game.

Tl;Dr:
LSU doesn't know if the QB position is a problem yet. Georgia certainly has a problem at QB.

I'm not impressed by Georgia, just Nick Chubb.

I'm not sure if Alabama is the best of these 3. I think Coker is holding them back THAT much.

Well, after watching UGA at Vandy in person, my first thought was how classy of Richt, to honor the Vandy Commodores by starting an anchor at QB.
