That's my worry. Plenty of teams have played Alabama close for a half and subsequently been shut down offensively in the second half.

The key for Jones to have success is the run game and OSU won't be able to run the ball against Bama's front 7
So that will force Urb to make adjustments and try to get the most he can out of his QB, it's not gonna be a pretty night for Jones. He will see the most exotic and confusing blitzes he's ever seen. The pressure will seemingly come from out of nowhere. This Bama team is on a mission right now.
The most interesting match-up to watch is gonna be the Ohio St. D against Bama to see what Kiffin throws at that excellent D
I'm cautiously optimistic

We are going to wipe the floor with Ohio State. Something like 42-10
Think 2010 Cap 1 bowl against Michigan State

When Jones throws the ball, and he will have too, he will be throwing to open recievers who are not really open. By the second qt Smart will be so in his head he will be shell shocked.
But that's just one boys thinking...

I am thinking more like the Notre Dame game...but probably more comeptitive. Bama wins by 14 to 21.

Probably as confident as they were against Oklahoma.
A little less confident than the last two times Bama played Missouri. So pretty damn confident.

I'm extremely confident that Alabama will play well. If the secondary can play up to its potential, I see Alabama winning comfortably.

OU has no chance in this game. They will score some points but lose by 14.
However, I do think Bama will have a problem with the Ducks.

Ohio State will not be able to load up the box like they did against wisky. Bama has a passing threat where as wisky didn't. jmo
OSU didn't really load the box extra against Wisky. It was really the front 4 dominating the LOS for the first time all year.
And I know everyone just assumes OSU can't run on Bama, but just like Bama has shut most teams running the ball down, OSU has been able to run on most teams.
MSU/Wisky/Michigan are all top 20 rushing units and OSU was able to run on all of them. You can point to the PSU as a game where OSU struggled, but that was on the road in a hostile night game, really the first hostile game for this team.
I think it should be a great game, and if I'm a bama fan, I am cautiously optimistic as said a few times. You have to think Bama has most of the advantages, but OSU has played infinitely better in an underdog role lately

they should be very confident. TOSU is on its 3rd string qb, managed to lose to va tech, and plays in a weak baby back of a conference. They also have a coach who bama already ran out of the sec. BAMA should roll them by 30

The reason we score a lot late is a mostly due to our depth but OSU has depth too so I'm not counting on wearing you guys out. I just think OSU will have a much harder time scoring all game than we will. Our speed and power should be unlike what they are used to, imo.

Bama gonna win by 50.... ROLL TIDE!

I disagree with you but I would be happy to be proven wrong.

Look at any time bama has lost in the past under Saban...It has all come from qb's who have amazing games. Tebow, Cam, Stephen Garcia for one game ( ).
Although we beat Auburn Nick Marshall put up a ton of points against us..
I have trouble thinking this 3rd string qb can do it. Our defense is miles ahead of the injured Wisconsin d they played.
You know we are gonna slow down/stop the run enough. We did for Auburn. It all depends on if he can beat us through the air. I like our odds.

I feel we have about a 95% chance of winning. They are on their 3rd quarterback and it's just hard for me to see a 3rd stringer have that much success against Bama. Bama's not going to let the Buckeyes run on them...you can take that to the bank. And when a team becomes 1 dimensional on Alabama we all know how that usually turns out. Very few teams have had a semi-successful rushing attack against Bama (LSU, Auburn, Arkansas) and Ohio State don't have the horses those teams have. Could they win? Sure it's football....you never know what could happen. Would I bet on them?....Not unless you don't like money.
If their quarterback has a PHENOMENOL night throwing they can win. PHENOMENOL!!!!!!!

Honest prediction...42-0 Bama.
This game will look very similar to Bama's game against Notre Dame a couple of years ago.
