Y'all can no longer use UMMC to prop up your enrollment numbers. According to Dr LouAnn Woodard, Vice Chancellor and Dean of the School of Medicine as well as future Ole Miss Chancellor and proud Mississippi State University graduate, the Mississippi State University now contributes greater numbers of students to The University of Mississippi Medical Center than any other school or institution. Including OLe Miss! That's right sweet cheeks. Not even OM can outdo us at your own medical center. These numbers were released during the speech she gave at our commencement. She also said this trend would not change. Guess we will be changing the name here pretty soon to University Medical Center instead to reflect who the new owner is.

That included School of Medicine too homey.

I bet if we run the numbers at your law school more of those are State grads too. Just image when Woodard replaces Vitter after then NCAA does their thing.

Ole Miss has a higher number of out of state students that get into professional/medical/etc schools out of state/back in their home state. If I'm from GA and get into a med school in GA why would I pay out of state to go to UMMC when I just paid 4 years of out of state tuition for undergrad?

So they were such underachievers that they couldn't get into their own states 4 yr university, but an education from OM gets them into a better med school? Makes sense somewhere, I guess

Apparently they can no longer use UMMC to bury the bodies associated with their shady recruiting tactics either. The NCAA done found them.

7,000 bodies could be buried on UMMC campus

I got news for you, the minute those folks enrolled at UMMC they officially became Ole Miss students. It's probably good that they matriculated at the most boring college town in America before med school. Fewer distractions. Congrats on those guys for coming to the flagship. Even if late.

I know it's hard to believe since you're a Mississippi state fan but Ole Miss actually draws a lot of out of state students. Mississippi State doesn't have that draw, but most other SEC schools do draw a good bit of out of state students
