Ole Miss and Miss State just laid eggs. Neither competed in their bowl games. They faced two teams that wanted it more and just flat out kicked arse
LSU was who we thought they were. They got beat by a better overall team.
The only surprise is how bad the Mississippi schools got beat. I picked them both to lose.

I kind of made fun of FSU all year for having close games with teams like Louisville, Notre Dame, Georgia Tech, and Boston College. The only problem with that is, most of those teams have looked good in their bowl games.

TCU and GT are very solid teams

If LSU, Ole Miss, and Miss St. played at the levels they bring to Bama games. They'd all had a way better chance a winning those bowl games. You don't respect your opponent, you deserve to get beat, that simple. Bama better be respecting this Ohio St. team. Everyone in the SEC better realize we're the hunted now, and we're all getting everyone's best shot more than not. Bama had to learn this tough lesson a few times....
Notre Dame is just OK
If LSU, Ole Miss, and Miss St. played at the levels they bring to Bama games. They'd all had a way better chance a winning those bowl games. The 3 losers shite the bed. They couldn't handle a big stage with someone unfamiliar. I mean give any above .500 team a month to prepare for GT and they'll win. TCU is just better than OM but damn they could not response with TCU turned the pressure up in both sides. Patterson is a hell of a coach. LSU is just shite on O. Cam is hands down the most overrated coach in CFB. With chief 1 foot out the door I could see him not giving a single frick about LSU and ND.
