So Cecil had almost 600 yards in his first 4 games before breaking his leg?

It was actually three games and three plays (I believe). He broke his leg in the 1st quarter against Vanderbilt.

Cecil averaged close to 200 yards per game in his first season playing at LSU. LF7 averaged around 158 per game in his first season, including the powder-puffs.

If Cecil ran behind an OL like Bama or LSU in recruiting today, he would be the best back in Lsu history.

LSU hasn't had a better offensive line than we did in 1997 since. That OL was amazing.

Cecile collins was not better than kevin charles alexander faulk or fournette. Hell, he may not even be top 5 in lsu history. LSU will always have a top notch rb, you can bet the house on that.

Faulk was a very important get for us on the recruiting trail. At a time when many Louisiana blue chips were going to Miami or anywhere but LSU; Kevin made it cool to stay home and go to LSU again. The one of few upsides of that Dinardo era which Saban followed was the need to keep our recruits.

He had a very successful career as evident of his name on many SEC career stats lists and in the NFL as the Pat's 3rd down back, never got into any trouble, his locker room always loved him; and now, it appers he's making waves as a high school football coach.

He's makes LSU proud as well as the New England organization.

There is never room for Cecil or even Hill to be the best at LSU, when guy's like Kevin, Fournette, and now, Guice are carrying the torch.
