And Cecil Collins was a badass RB too.

ETA: Dude would simply wear your arse out and then take over. This also includes Auburn game.

Not sure why my post came up twice. I deleted one but it still shows. Oh well.

Cecil the Diesel. Wish he wasn't such a damn lunatic and there were more opportunities to watch him play.

You can find a few LSU fans over on tRant that will tell you he was the best RB to come out of LSU after compiling 596 yards total rushing here. In his entire time in Baton Rouge.

Like any blue blood SEC school; we have our history of great backs.

He's the Kaiser Sose of LSU lore...

Cecil was maybe the best pure back in LSU history. He got better ever snap of every year.

Nah. He's not even in my top 5. I was at LSU when he was there. I was fortunate to see Faulk, hell? Three years while there?

That backfield of Faulk, Mealey, and Cecil was the best 3 back backfield in our history until you put whoever you want with Fournette and Guice. Take Lanard.

I can add Billy Cannon and Charles Alexander and still not get to Cecil because l have current NFL players I would put in front of him while LSU.

Cecil was an incredible athlete; but the sample size is too small. And that's about it.

If Cecil ran behind an OL like Bama or LSU in recruiting today, he would be the best back in Lsu history. What killed all that was his arrests and head in another planet. Dude was a beast, football was his second love outside of breaking into women's apartments and laying next to them. I don't think he actually raped anyone did he?

We don't rape and pillage at our respectable institution, Cecil just liked to watch them sleep, and we watched him go bye.

Those Miss State defenses during I guess 1997-1999 were awesome. We had zero offense and teams eventually had their way late 3rd Q and 4th Q and wore our arse down. But we did have a great defense those days lol.

So Cecil had almost 600 yards in his first 4 games before breaking his leg?

A guy named Guice may have a better average than what Cecil had in those games with twice as many carries as it stands now when it's all said and done.

Cecil had a few weak defenses in that run, as well.

I've always wondered what the hell was going on in Cecil's head. He broke into an apartment 3 times just to watch women sleep.

I would hate to say the parents; but the parents?

Classic example of a great athlete glorified his entire life that he just thought he was bigger than the law? There's an example of that everywhere.

As to why he liked to watch them sleep..?

He played 4-5 games, got injured and was kicked off the team before he returned.

Who lied to you?

I thought about him for the Most Hated Thread. What a freaking enigma that guy was. I hated what he did to our defense, and I hated how he threw away that much talent.
