not sure if you know how the whole "processing" thing works.

Which is exactly why he should be processed.

Alabama is not good enough to process people in basketball

Tarrant is our best young player and absolutely critical. You don't "process" your only decent point guard.

He's not young as he will be a 5th year senior, but he was one of our best players.

Tarrant has proven he's the real deal.

Anthony Grant might be gone, but I still see bama struggling to score next year

(Shocking - - I agreed with one of your posts yesterday re: Stansbury and another post today)

Well considering the OP, it's clearly via Twitter

It depends on who he brings in. I can't imagine him letting Tarrant go without a backup plan.

True.....Malik Newman( Back up plan)

Unfortunately this is true especially if rumors I've heard about Hale and Taylor possibly transferring are true. I heard that possibility the other night but it has calmed down some since. If they stay we'll be about the same as this past year. If Tarrant would have stayed we would have had a pretty good chance of making the tournament. Something to keep up with.

Not sure he really "let him go" in the sense that this is what Avery Johnson wanted (I would imagine Johnson would rather have Tarrant next year than not). He did grant him his release, which I have no problem with.
Hope Justin Coleman is the real deal and Avery really needs to sign Dazon Ingram now that Tarrant is gone.

Tarrant got hurt around the midway point - and was actually having a pretty decent year - but he's not an elite-type guy who can take Bama to another level. He'll be looking for his 3rd school now - from Tulane, to Bama, now it looks like Kennesaw State (according to NOLA.com).
Now we have two spots to fill, wish we had more - hope we can get some good ones too.

Levi Randolph, Tarrant, and Rodney Cooper were the 3 leading scorers from last year. They are now gone. I don't remember Jimmy Taylor being a good offensive player. The players Grant signed in the early period aren't the type to score a lot of points next year

Heard that Gottfried was in contact with Hale the day after Grant was fired.
