It'll go on forever. I wonder how long this particular thread would be over on TardSports?
Tidesports is a shell of its former self once it moved from the Tuscaloosa News site to rivals. There are literally like 10 threads a week at most on that site now. Terrible website.
BTW, it's funny you mention Tidesports. ITAT is already proclaiming Mark Emmert's problems signal Alabama's eminent NCAA death penalty. They are begging posters to resend "the packet" to the writer of the Emmert article as "a tribute to Thrower".
On the other hand, this article by an Auburn writer with recent former players making specific allegations means nothing and is a REC plot to sully Auburn's pristine reputation.
P.S. Don't get bent out of shape guys. I'm just pointing out the the irony of a website that sees rules violations literally behind every closed door at one school but doesn't even acknowledge an article by a fellow grad with former players making specific allegations at their own. And no I'm not saying this is a big deal. This won't amount to anything but it is fun to see ITAT scramble to downplay an actual article by an Auburn grad with Auburn players making accusations while bending stories that have nothing to do with Alabama into bonafide proof of Alabama cheating.

"What better ode to a pet than, well, to name a media company after him?" This website is gonna bring down #Auburn you guys.

Whoa, the website was named after a dog? Gamechanger.

I don't read ITAT. I watch their practice videos and that's it. Don't even go to Scout for recruiting news, period. I can't even view their photo slides how feature because it looks like they use a camera from 1972 still. Pretty bad website it every phase.

Noon — Contacting the Auburn city police, Campbell discovers Mike is at the station. Insisting on answers, she is transferred to an official who refers to himself as Capt. Welch. The only Capt. Welch listed on the force is Corey Welch. “At first he gave me the run-around and I said, ‘Look, I’m in Mobile (Ala.). Do I need to get there?’” recalls Campbell. “And he said, ‘Oh, no, Mrs. Campbell, you don’t need to be up here. We’re just waiting for Coach to come. This has been a big misunderstanding, a college prank gone wrong.’ He kept saying, ‘We’re going to handle this internally. We’re not allowing the media to know; and we’re keeping it all under wraps here. Just stay there and wait to get a call from the coach.’ I said, ‘Wait, I have the right to know what my son has been charged with.’ And he said, ‘No, it’s not like that.’”
It would be the coldest of cold days in hell before Jimmy Williamson and the UGAPD even subconsciously entertained the idea of calling Mark Richt to "handle things internally."

Are they talking about the late John "stump" Thrower the disbarred attorney that was living in his car and thought the REC was out to kill him?

The joke is that someone who previously worked for the New York Times is now breaking news on a website named after a dog. . .

Not sure if the NCAA cares about that but this should be a big problem for recruiting. Coaches and the police tailing black athletes? Wow.

I need a little help fellow Aubies. I have heard it referred to many times about Camgate and ATPB. Is this where we are supposed to be scared and worried? I notice how many of the opposing fans get wood over articles like this. How many times did you all see threads like this in 2010, fapping and dancing at the thought of Auburn getting in trouble, only for nothing to happen at all? It's rather amusing really, but I'll pretend to be scared.

“Coaches would say, ‘Don’t tell anyone where you got it from,’’’ says Blanc. McNeil recalls having a difficult day at practice in 2007 and then-defensive coordinator, Will Muschamp, calling him into his office. “I had no clue what it was about because I’d never directly asked him for anything,” says McNeil. “He slid about $400 over to me. He went into a drawer and gave me money and said, ‘Is this enough? Is this good?’ And I said, ‘Yeah, I’m good.’” Muschamp, now the head football coach at the University of Florida, denied the payment through a spokesperson.

As much as I'm lectured and castigated for acknowledging that website's existence, it's easily the biggest Auburn website on the net. I'm not sure why it's ok to mention TideSports or Tidefans but people lose their s### when I or someone else mentions ITAT.
