Agreed. I wish JJ and AU would rethink this one.

As Auburn has been saying and now most media members agree (Even Fartbaum), the CAM investigation for all practical purposes is OVER...

You're right bro. The investigation is over. Case closed. Cam and AU did no wrong. Please accept my apology for ever doubting them. Cam is a fine upstanding gentleman that didn't deserve any of the scrutiny he went through. Oh and his dad is a cool cat too. Preaching the word of God to the masses all the while primping his son out for two hundred thousand dollars.

No problem whatsoever, young man!

Here... let my buy you a beer!

Thank god. Keep them away from living things. It would be nice of them to destroy dumb statues.

I don't think so. Tebow was/is a great ambassador of the program along with a living legend at UF. He dominated the headlines for 3 years and spent 4 years at UF.

Cam spent one year at Auburn and there was / is non-stop allegations of cheating.

Two different situations in my opinion.

+1

Tebow was an ambassador for UF - Cam used AU for one year to get to the NFL. Tebow was a player with a clean record and character. Cam Newton ~~~ not so much.

Bottom line, it's none of our business. I really don't care who Auburn builds a statue of, and you shouldn't either. I didn't appreciate the remarks about our statues, so I don't want to make any about theirs or those at any other school. Why should we care?

My take on the Cam statue is, if they're making Heisman statues for Bo and Pat, why wouldn't they make one for Cam? There is no period of time that has to pass for this to happen, imo. It's not like there's a 5 year waiting period, and then it's ok to make one. The first two were planned before Cam played a down at Auburn. I just don't see the point of holding out on his statue since he's now got a Heisman too. This isn't for a lifetime achievement or who is the best Auburn ambassador, it's for Auburn players who won the Heisman, which he is. If you're going to do it for the 2 past winners, you need to do it for the guy that just won it too.

Thanks for the brother, I'm sure I deserve it. To each his own though.

The Bo and Pat statues were finished and delivered to Auburn, the bases were ready to go for A-Day. Bjorge said his work has Jackson running and Sullivan passing. He wouldn't tip his hand on what Newton will be doing.
