The facts regarding Reggie Bush were pretty much known and never changed. Everyone (USC, the media, the NCAA) saw the house, the cars, the bling, etc. etc. and the media reported on it pretty much right after the fact. Now why the NCAA took so long, I haven't a clue. But they took a lot of heat for doing so.
So now, Mr. Amateur Investigator... what do Auburn, the media, and the NCAA know about the Cam stuff? Where is the money, house, cars, bling, etc? I'm sure, since you see these two cases as being parallel, that you have those FACTS, right?
Yeah... I hear you.
You sound a lot like this:

Do you feel Tebow's statue was too soon as well?
I don't think so. Tebow was/is a great ambassador of the program along with a living legend at UF. He dominated the headlines for 3 years and spent 4 years at UF.
Cam spent one year at Auburn and there was / is non-stop allegations of cheating.
Two different situations in my opinion.

Very True. However if they are going to be building Heisman statues, they need one for everyone. Since they had plans for the other two in advance of this season, they should just say we have plans to add our third in the future, with no real time frame. Maybe in 3-5 years

Building a statue of Newton at this point borders on reckless. Isn't it wildly premature to start work on that tribute before the NCAA investigation into his recruitment is closed?
What does Auburn ever do recently that doesn't "border on reckless"?

If anything ever comes out, I guess Auburn could just take it down.

Two different situations...one common decision to make a creepy statue and put it on campus.

You're right bro. The investigation is over. Case closed. Cam and AU did no wrong. Please accept my apology for ever doubting them. Cam is a fine upstanding gentleman that didn't deserve any of the scrutiny he went through. Oh and his dad is a cool cat too. Preaching the word of God to the masses all the while primping his son out for two hundred thousand dollars.

Thank god. Keep them away from living things. It would be nice of them to destroy dumb statues.
