You can read here if you want to learn something.
Namely that AU is the 5th toughest grading college in the United States. Right behind MIT, Princton, and a Polytechnic institute.

Lol. See post right above yours. Also, dig a bit deeper there and you will find bama is one of the easiest colleges to get an A in the entire united states.
Bama is nothing like AU and a bama degree is often best used for wiping ones arse.

Auburns Graduation rate 2nd lowest in SEC Again, it is because AU is literally one of the hardest colleges in the country to get good grades at.
Yes, directed-reading classes are hard as frick.

I don't really care. so long as we all agree he got paid Did he he show up for a couple of classes in the spring?
Since you asked...He was there spring, summer, and fall of 2010. He's also been back every year since 2012 to take classes on-campus and he graduated last spring.

Think some people are getting owned in this thread and should just move along before it gets uglier for them.

At bama you get your diploma after your first start

Auburn is one the very few land, sea, and space grant research universities in the U.S. actually.
Pretty damn impressive.

Well to answer you question directly, yes at one time AU was primarily a technical school. Maybe still could call AU that as AU grads do generally make more than grads of any other SEC school except Vandy and AtM due to a lot of technical degrees and skills.

So why do the majority of your fans get all defensive about having attended a Polytechnic Institute?

I haven't really seen that. I have a grey API shirt I wear around at times.

Course could be annoyance at bama fans using it as an attempted insult without even knowing the meaning of the word and that it probably indicates the AU fan makes a lot more money than they do.

My diploma says Auburn University. I guess maybe you know some very old alumni who have degrees from API?
Seriously, what is your point?
