Your football team is starting to write its own jokes. Do you guys ever long for 2019 and the Gus Bus? Yes, it's been that long.

Doubly confounding when da Bahr never wore it either. Weird.

- Bama surpasses Auburn in the only sport they were good at
- Auburn football program is a laughingstock

Barntard reaction: "lol rent free"

AU is still the superior institution overall…

Sure. Nike has about 90% market share in the sport, but it’s only about Bama

Go back and read your boards when Bama went 3-0 vs Auburn in recruiting in the matter of a month.

There were probably dozens of threads complaining that Under Armor was holding you people back in recruiting vs Bama.

First off, I buy nothing Nike. However, in this case there is a doubly great reason not to do so.

You are making this up.

As for Nike- that is primarily a basketball recruiting issue. Pearl hasn't had an issue with recruiting because he does pretty well mixing transfers with youth. The G league hurt Pearl more than Nike.

"Years"

Total NCAA tournament wins in the state of Alabama:

Oats has 8 wins in 5 years
Bruce Pearl 7 wins in 10 years

Tim Cook was involved here… (he is on the Nike board)

Has he been trying to get AU to change for 20 years? Why Under Armor for 20 years when so many prominent AU alum are now on the Nike train?

Heard the other day that Champion is very popular again with the kids these days. And they make good athletic gear

Yep Champion went from a Walmart brand to $75 for a hoodie.

Do we have to rehash this again? Auburn is a better school and the graduates make significantly more earnings.

Y’all are good at football.

And Samford is better than both. But that doesn't make them an SEC team either.

And now, Basketball. Which you are about to be reminded of AD NAUSEAM.

No, but now that you mention it - the topic was definitely basketball recruiting. But it was a direct comparison to Bama.

Auburn's basketball recruiting isnt comparable to Bama. Our roster stays full, needing only to replace one or two every year.

Bama can bring 4 or 5 recruits/tranfers often it seems like.

Bama can bring in a top 5 HS class while

Auburn can bring in Kessler by transfer and Jabari by way of a top 30 HS class and both schools stay happy.
