Sucks that you have the 2 biggest (rivalry) games of the year right next to each other (14 days apart).

We used to play them 7 days apart when the Iron Bowl was played the week before Thanksgiving. There was no other game between those two games.

As a matter of fact, for many, many years our last four games of the year were UF, Homecoming, UGA, bama. Pat Dye called it "Amen Corner".

Scheduling Clemson over and over is even worse. Money talks.

La Tech would have beaten Florida the last 5 seasons.

The schedule is very difficult. USCe is our rotating game. @KSU is a tough non conference game. Always play UGA before Bama, used to be one would be at home, one on the road, expansion changed that. . Not sure how to spread it out any better.

Hate the Thursday night game, but it will be watched. Keeps me from going.

I think the schedule actually sets up well. You have the worse team in the SEC as an opener followed by nearly three weeks to prepare for a road game against K State. Then nearly three weeks to prepare for LSU at home. By the time you play your tough 5 week stretch, you should be well rested and know what your younger players can do. They have an open week before USC and Samford before Alabama. The key to the season will be the USC game at home.

didn't UF go 13-1 (8-0 in SEC play) within the last 5 years? Has MSU ever done that in their entire history of existence? Poor guy.....must suck.

Don't even start.....look at Auburn's schedule.

@Kansas St.
@Ole Miss
@Miss. St.
USCe @ home
@UGA
@bama

Well that's what happens when you get us to play at your stadium 2 years in a row and get 2 extremely unlikely rival wins that probably wouldn't have happened on the road.

Dammit....I knew winning those two game against uga and uat would cost us dearly. The schedule-makers really showed Auburn!!

By the way, would you please provide the link explaining how Auburn "got you to play in our stadium 2 years in a row". I'm trying to build a case showing Jay Jacobs' incompetency. TIA.

This isn't his first rodeo. That's for sure.

or his 50th either.. just the same our game vs UCF will likely be as tuff an opponent as that game vs the mildcats.

While we get our 3 of our 4 ooc openers at home we have to play @ Toledo and @ UsCar to open the real season and close with a 4 game road trip. It's no picnic.

Starting off the season with an SEC opponent is just dumb.....even though it's bottom-feeder nobody Arkansas.

The SEC wants some early big, conference matchups to open the season with,, that won't be one of them.

Yes, but then you showed your melt by bringing the outcome of the game, which has absolutely no bearing on our schedule.

I'm sorry you Are still melting
