Home and home series has been announced starting next year in Ohio according to Jon Rothstein.

Get to see an interesting coaching matchup. Anthony Grant vs Bruce Pearl. Grant has no offense but a great defense. Pearl has an offense but no defense. Grant went 2-0 against him his last year at Bama, but Pearl has gotten better since then. Should be a fun series!

It only sounds interesting for an Alabama fan.

Dayton won't be good next year, but Grant owns Pearl, so Dayton will probably win

An SEC Basketball series involving a consistent NCAA team and a rising player in the SEC not-named Alabama only sounds interesting to an Alabama fan.

Makes sense.

Hogs did the home and home with Dayton ’14-15, '15-16.

Much better team at that time but Pearl hasn't done anything notable at Auburn.

Dayton has probably played a home and home with half the SEC the last few years. Alabama, Auburn, Arkansas, Vanderbilt, I'm sure there are others.

Glad to see us try to schedule some good teams out of conference.

I don't think Kansas, UNC, UCLA or Duke will schedule many SEC teams not named Kentucky so the best thing to do is play some mid major types. Villanova might agree to some home and home series.

I would try to play in Atlanta at least once a year if I was Coach Pearl. Maybe some of the Villanova's, Gonzaga's, etc would fly down for that.
