to be fair, this Auburn mess sure has put the Ole Miss 5 year witch hunt into proper perspective, wouldn't you agree?

downplay what? The fans will not be getting what they paid for. We all know our two best players are done.
WTF?

Not getting what you paid for? The players haven't even been officially named, suspended, or kicked off the team. The head coach is still in tact and the rest of the remaining players that will be putting in sweat and hard work will still take the court. Don't they deserve the support of their Family?

Yeah, this is my thing. Ticket holders bought tickets for a product, and that product is Auburn Basketball. The product isn't assured to be good basketball, or Bruce Pearl basketball. I don't think player suspensions or a coach change warrants refunds, this is a big deal.

The whole thing makes no sense at this juncture. An Asst Coach is gone, and possibly a couple of players. How does that justify refunding the season ticket holders?

What the neck does that mean? Ole Miss cheated. They got caught. They are about to pay the price. It is in no way cast in a different light because of the auburn stuff. The NCAA hasn't even gotten involved with auburn yet.

A lot of fans called yesterday and demanded refunds. I see no problem with Auburn honoring this. We know two players will be suspended.

They should get a refund of Jay Jacobs' salary.

It would be the AU thing to do and make it to the final four. We can never have nice things.

What on earth does this have to do with anything I said earlier?

I've been very candid about Auburn's plight and the possibilities. That I'm breaking down the indictment and how the NCAA reacts to these situations in actual terms, rather than emotional generalizations, apparently rubs you the wrong way.

I don't get how this is really controversial

Seems to me Auburn is doing the right thing by Auburn people.

I expect some, perhaps most, AU ticket holders will wait and see.

No, but that's the product being advertised...especially Pearl. How much did Auburn season ticket sales increase because of Pearl, even before he coached his first game?

This is not good . . .

I feel for you AU fans. Obviously not an AU fan, but I'm a Pearl fan.

so true, this bumblefricker has destroyed our AD through his ineptness. I hope the GOBs are happy and enjoy their "experience" now. Bastards

Wait, so if the "rouge" assistant was only doing harm to Auburn, why do this?

My best friend at AU keeps texting me this and saying it's all everyone is talking about today. There is some serious hate with Jacobs there.
