That dude is beyond a moron. He's a legitimate POS and one of the most pathetic miserable excused for a person that I've run across anywhere on the Internet.

The real mystery is why so many adults involved in youth baseball and softball have that mongoloid with goatee look??

And how auburn has a good looking softball team??

This isn't that complicated to me. She should've just slapped his hand like everyone does. It was petty. That still doesn't give him a right to do what he did. The adult should've been the adult and just kept on walking.

Exactly, I'm not sure why so many posters are trying to make one side hold all the fault. That being said, I do have higher expectations on a coach than a player.

She's a bitch for being in the handshake line and not offering to shake hands. If you aren't going to shake hands, just go to the dugout.

That's what I saw. He basically high fived/patted her shoulder and she went psycho. To call it a 'push' is a stretch.

I'd like to see the previous two game's handshakes. If she refused in the previous two games, and UF's coaches knew she was going to do the same thing after this game, his arse needs to be suspended for putting hands on her. Petty on her part though? Absolutely.

Can't wait til we criminalize a pat on the back.

Honestly, I don't think any of you guys watch the video, she already had her hand down because she didn't give the coach in front of him a high five. So how could she pull her hand down at the last second?

Nope. Put your crimson glasses down. That wasn't a pat, it was a legitimate shove.

With that said, she shouldn't have put her hand down and he should have just moved his hands. They're both assholes, but he's an older adult. He should know better.

You know how ironic this is coming from an LSU fan

The softball player and the coach were both in the wrong. Anybody that sides with one or the other without at least acknowledging the above is looking at a different video than I am. The nudge to the shoulder wasn't terribly disturbing, but he shouldn't have done it. Fagan was acting like a bitch over the shove because of stuff that happened years ago. Cannot justify either party or their actions.

In game 1, there is a video going around on twitter where she didn't acknowledge him either.

Wussy move by the Auburn player, act like you know how to win, although it doesn't happen against UF softball that often, so I can kinda understand.

He wasn't even looking at her, just pushing his hand out expecting contact with another hand.

I live on a baseball field these days. If I cut a kid and he doesn't want to shake my hand, I don't like it but I get it.

Context is important- lot's of family baggage here. She did shake hands with the players (which is all that matters). And notice that it was only an issue when AU won.

The so-called "shove" was more of her moving away from him than it was a shove. It appeared to me that he was looking straight ahead and was reaching for her hand but I don't care either way.

If true, then the coach damn well knew what he was doing.

Maybe so. Whatever the reason for it, I highly doubt he meant to provoke that type of reaction from the player.
