Back story between the coach and the player's sisters means absolutely nothing here. The Auburn player did nothing wrong either. If she doesnt want to shake hands with someone she doesn't have to. A little bitter and classless? Maybe but she is a college kid and she still didn't do anything over the line. The UF coach was 100% in the wrong and should be disciplined. Unacceptable from someone who is in the position he is in.

If he'd just brushed her shoulder with a hand, I can see letting it slide. He put a little english on that and it was intentional. I'm sure he knew exactly who she was.

He clearly gave her a shove out of anger. Anyone arguing against that is biased. Completely inappropriate and unacceptable from a man in general, much less the HC of an SEC women's sports team.

lol at this thread. Lets break it down.
Florida coach is a grown man who pushed a teenage girl who acted like probably most of us would have at that age given the situation. Who knows what was said in the aftermath so I want comment on that

Yep, doesnt really matter what she did at all. This coach is supposed to be a professional who mentors college women. Whatever she did, it's his responsibility to be the professional and take the high road. Not a good look for this clown.

Clearly. If she had simply left her hand up - after a win - we wouldn't be talking about it.
So, let me get this straight, if someone doesn't shake your hand after a game that gives you the right to push them? Coach should be fired or suspended for the rest of the season.

i know if the opposing coach pushed a man in the shoulder after a series, he would be get worse than a slight push in the back.
no dude is reacting like a child to an routine shoulder check bump in a handshake line. this happens all the time in sports, people arent paying attention so you give slight contact on the back/shoulder to acknowledge them

Amazing how many pussies are on this board that dont appreciate a woman who fights back when assaulted. In Florida, she could have him arrested.
holy frick, You are talking about a man getting arrested for barely touching a girl in the shoulder and youre calling other people pussies?

If she wasn't going to high five him then she should have just walked around him or stayed out of the line all together.

Exactly right. And this is why I said SHE was just looking for trouble and being a rotten brat.

You call that a push? Have you watched the video???
He taps her shoulder with his forearm. She reacted to being touched at all because she has beef with the guy. She didn't react to being hit hard.
He's not even looking at her as he goes down the line.

Listen we are both bias, I understand that, but there's no reason for a grown man in his position to respond like that.

Auburn receiver John Franklin III,
Since when has he moved to rec? Missed that. Is that Gus' way of eliminating qb controversy?

I don't think the guy really responded, though. He came down on her shoulder with his forearm without any real force to acknowledge her since she didn't have the hand up. There was no force behind it.
I really think she just didn't want to be touched at all because her family has beef with the guy and that was shy she reacted so angrily. The way she goes after the UF team afterwards shows you that she's a feisty one. It's like someone getting in your face at the bar because you accidentally knocked their drink over.
Some of you are reacting like he shoved her the way she shoved him. I didn't see that. I saw no force in his forearm. My two cents.

Kinda annoyed that his name popped up on my radar again, honestly.

I think this is the whole story, both know each other and should've avoided one another because there was still angst amongst them. The grown professional should've avoided the "trap", but he redacted and now it's posted for millions to see. She's obviously a young, immature girl that still holding a grudge, but all of it could've been avoided. Also, I went too far when I said he should be suspended or fired, but the AD should sit him down and explain that he is better than what he did.

I mean agree to disagree. In the video he's clearly surprised by her shove. I don't think he was retaliating because she didn't have her hand up. I think he was just trying to acknowledge her despite the fact.
If I'm the AD I talk it over with him but that's about the extent of it.

I think both were wrong. IMO, both of them made bad decisions on sportsmanship. The coaches for Auburn will likely handle her situation internally. But given the history that preceded the situation, he will also need some disciplinary action as well. If the history wasn't there then it would be more on Fagan acting up.

The longer video looks worse for both parties. Because you can clearly see that she never shook hands with any Florida coaches. His actions look just as childish and immature.
