Says the person trying to justify a 40 year old man pushing a woman because he was upset she wouldn't shake his hand.

This is actually more disturbing than that whole ordeal.

Well now, one of your fellow Tigers said that Fagan was also at the center of a domestic violence incident surrounding one of your former starting basketball players that Pearl ended up having to boot from the team, K.Canty.

I think the domestic violence case was with a girl that wasn't her (they were dating at the time though). Not 100% sure on that though. Either way she has a ton of baggage.

Based on everything going around, Canty was at the center of it. Guy was a problem. He had more issues than anything with Fagan.

I was actually only one degree of separation from that drama, unfortunately for me. Everyone I knew that was involved painted Canty as the bad guy but people are always going to be biased and everyone I know is associated with softball, so who really knows.

I'm basing that more on the rumors about what happened with TJ Dunans and Steven Pearl. I have no idea what may or may not have happened with he and Fagan. Just making an assumption from the other stuff.

All I know, is that if a grown man can find himself shoulder checking a 19 year old opponent female and then having the audacity to go toe to toe with her and try to pretend like she is crazy and he didn't do anything has some serious issues and probably should not be coaching girls of that age.

I really hope he is embarrassed. If not, lunatic.

Good for her on the quick reaction to that bullshite with a push back. I think she kicked his arse really.

FL coach should be fired. Under no circumstance should a coach initiate contact with an opposing teams player.

Or a public apology and a suspension should set that vagina straight.

yup. he thought he would get away with it and she'd be timid enough to let it slide. he wasn't expecting her to call him out on the tpos move.

All I see is a guy doing the usual pleasantries after a game -- congratulating the other team, win or lose -- and not really paying close attention. After a few hundred games under your belt, you stop focusing. He didn't even seem to really be looking at her. His hand moved to high-five and since the hand he expected to encounter wasn't there, it kept going and touched her shoulder.

It's funny, when I watched it at first, I thought the same thing. Then today, happened to watch it a few more times with all the discussion and it seems like his arm goes out a bit, but after reading your comments and looking at it on slow mo loop, it appears to make contact, she rotates which then sort of moves his hand and arm off the normal line it was traveling. I'm apt to at least retract my "clearly" comment on his intent upon watching again... Either way, I don't have an issue with her initial reaction, particularly given the family history. Stand up for yourself if you think you've been slighted sure... but as others have said, if she truly just didn't want to interact with him, stay in the dugout... whether she's "looking for it" or not, she seems to revel in the opportunity at the very least...

Neither of them look great here, but one of them was a bad split second interaction at worst, the other decided to make it a bad 20-30 second showing on top of already acting childish to begin with...

FWIW, I think the handshake/high five line is about as stupid as the post game interview of the losers... It's typically awkward. If it's organic, fine... see boxers/mma fighters that hug/congratulate each other after the fight vs. ones that just go to their side and celebrate (sometimes prematurely)... I just don't think forced fake friendliness after a sporting event is doing anything to promote "sportsmanship".

I'm glad she brought attention as well. Sleeze ball coach tried to sneak it in and keep walking. Girls dad should beat his arse.
