Softball is moving into the arms race category of SEC sports. While Oklahoma is ruling the roost right now there is no great shortage of very good teams in the SEC and several up and coming programs that have started to make some noise in the last few years.

If I was Auburn I'd look at poaching a top assistant from another SEC team. Someone with recruiting ties to the deep South. There is quite a bit of talent on the current Auburn softball team, they just need to find someone who can keep recruiting at a high level.

I may be wrong, but I think we've been recruiting nationally, with Meyers at least.

She already transferred to Baylor. But the roster is still extremely stacked.
