Let's go to the files and the last biased article about Auburn. Why was this an article? Another WSJ article that uses innuendo. Basically they wanted Auburn to sell on stub hub instead of to boosters.

For the Iron Bowl game against Alabama on Nov. 30, 2013, the school said that 13 different donors each bought more than 20 tickets at their $95 face value. Four purchased more than 50 apiece. For the Georgia game on Nov. 16, 16 donors bought at least 20 tickets each, the school said, while six others purchased 50 or more. Records reviewed by The Wall Street Journal show that one Auburn booster spent $17,100 for 180 total tickets to the two games.

Just another "article" written by a "random" writer at the WSJ.

Not a coincidence at all.

Nope.

It is obvious that the WSJ is after Auburn because the SEC offices are in Birmingham. I will pray for Auburn

Rich donors spend lots of money on football?

That is some real investigative journalism right there. Who knew?

Stub Hub was started by a bunch of Stanford guys with money to burn and have profited greatly by buying direct from SEC schools and bypassing donors in the process. I for one applaud Auburn for selling to donors first even if it pisses Stub Hub off to have their buddies write such an article in the WSJ

Keep it real Auburn!

It is amusing how this guy just writes random and pointless articles about AU seemingly consistently.

Fine by me though, have it it, knock yourself out Ben.

Those block ticket deals are almost always bought using corporate funds for entertainment.

I know one wealthy guy who buys like that and gives them to his doctor clients. This dude sells pharmaceuticals and makes an absolute killing.

Do you really care that some dweeb wrote an article about your school in the WSJ that you disagree with.

Damn son, are you a Democrat too? Did it offend you?

Grow a pair.

I didn't get the sense he was picking on Auburn. Every school holds back tickets "for athletic department use." For big games, those tickets go to he big money boosters. For lesser games, they are often given to local charities, or released to the public.

It's bullshite, but what can you do?

Aubie sells tickets to boosters. Boosters sell them second market for profit. Gives money to athletes under the table.

I was reading between the lines, but that's the gist of it right?

It's funny how Auburn fans think the WSJ is great when they are attacking Bama, but when they turn on them, they feel a little differently. Well, Welcome to the big time Auburn.

Wasn't it the WSJ that first ran the story on Saban "cutting" injured players? Or was that NYT?

Why do you think these articles are biased? What reason for personal bias do the authors have against AU?

Just curious what the connection is. Thanks.

I'd enjoy hearing your thoughts on this article. Apparently the Athletic Department flexed its muscle to protect the sham program used to funnel illiterate college grads out into the world

Auburn doesn't want more fans of rivals schools in their stadium than they have to allow. Nothing wrong with that. They also are willing to reward their biggest boosters. No problems with that either.

OP posting an 9 month old article b/c someone is after Auburn - strange

Thanks man. We need all the prayers we can get. Good to see a good one from the other side coming through.
