they are not totally, oregon horrible. they just kind of look like something an hourly wage worker would wear in a bakery...i don't think under armour spent a lot of time on the design of this uniform.

Auburn is and always will remain the top UA school in football, we have an MFN clause that dictates it. Money talks so therefore nothing will change with our uniform branding.

Under Armour didnt really change our Uni's though. Ours are classic so we didnt allow them much leeway with the designs.

it's not Under Armour... they just design the logo. the coach gets to design the uniform.

Well as far as football goes, the Aubs better take that power away from Clitchztink. God, his dentist jacket is awful.

Auburn doesn't design our own uniforms. We are at the mercy of UA.

that's not true. the school works w/ UA or Nike to design the uniform. that's why Auburn, SC and Maryland have different design styles even though they are all UA schools. UA does try to push styles on the school, but they school gets to decide. last season, UA tried to get SC to do a flag uniform like they did for their flagship school UMd, but SC vetoed it.

To a certain extent we work with them but they have the ultimate say. We give them certain suggestions but that's it, one year they made us switch cleats and the AD wasn't happy about it.

To the OP: UA has helped AU become a more nationally recognized name. Smthg Russell didn't seem to be keen on accomplishing so...No thank you is my response to your request.

well footwear is a little different. i think we weren't excited about the cleat change, but they don't make the cleats specific to each school, and UA doesn't have near the footwear background of Nike. i understand this crap more than i should because we've got some stupid fans that spend most of their time worrying about uniforms rather than the game. in fact, Spurrier is guaranteed a question during preseason on his call-in show about the uniform changes and he explains the process of working w/ UA during the off season. UA likes to change thing to use new technology and it helps sell more uniforms to the fans, which is how they recoup their money. but the colors, names, fonts, logos, etc. are ultimately the decision of the school. i'm sure UA (or Nike) comes in w/ some concept drawings, but the school has final say.

If Russell didn't move their manufacturing HQ from Alex City to wherever it ended up, Auburn would still be a Russell school.
