Damn that would be huge for Auburn. Best skill position player in the country. Lot's of stairs and maybe sitting a joke game but no way he sits against Auburn. This is Dabo and Clemson we are talking about.

Dabo Swinney statement on Sammy Watkins' weed arrest: "I am aware of the arrest last night. I am mad and hurt by the poor decision that Sammy Watkins made. He is a good young man who has been a model student, citizen, player and teammate. This is a reminder that good people make poor decisions. But, there are consequences for your actions...and there will be in this case. I am in the process of gathering the facts and discipline will be determined when I have completed that process."

Dabo after the review is done:

" When you see Sammy wearing the Clemson uniform again, you will know he is living to the high standards of a Tiger. We look forward to him wearing a uniform by fall for team pictures. Thank you there will be no further statements, or questions."

Yep, soccer players are a bad influence. Next thing you know Sammy will be faking an injury in an attempt to get a call.

No way he's suspended.

"We must let the justice system proceed at its on pace and then we will make our decision" or something like that.

It will "proceed at its own pace" until sometime AFTER the Auburn game.

Hopefully Au can pull the upset and not embarrass the SEC again.

As far as I know, Gene Chizik and Auburn have never lost to Louisiana Monroe.

It is because no matter how many nattie they win, the natties will not satisfy. They envy the Auburn fan who loves his school, is part of a family, has a good paying job, and beats Alabama more than any other team (6 comes to mind).

Not only is the bama fan rendered unhappy by his envy, but they also wish to inflict misfortune on others (Auburn). There are two types of envy: malicious envy and benign envy...

Anyone want to guess which one fits Updyke and the like?

Agree. Really don't think Dabo sits this guy, but I guess we'll find out as the story progresses.

I hope he plays... When a coach instills discipline into a program, the other players start taking him serious. When players take him serious they stop doing the wrong thing, when they stop doing the wrong thing a stronger team is the result, when a stronger team is the result they play well in the game after the suspension, when they play well it is bad news for the opponent... Don't let it be bad for the opponent, Dabo, Please play Sammy..

I can't speak for all Bama fans, but as the Bama fan who started this thread I can tell you that I started it because I thought it was news that people on the SECr would be interested in.

no way... great speed and instincts w/ the ball but not good hands. Clemson's offense gets him open, which he's hard to tackle when he's got space. but he drops a lot balls w/ pressure.
