LOL, we won't "blitz the house." Watch last years Florida game for more of a reference for how we'll play. We'll try to keep containment on Cam and make him beat us with the pass. I don't think we sacked Tebow once last year.

Bama will shut Auburn down. Bama by two or more Touchdowns.

I think Bama may be the best team at the end of they season. Doubt they lose again and will most likely play Oregon in the NCG.

Yeah, yall are. Yall are suggesting that you're going to stop Cam. Just like Clemson, Miss St, SC, UK, Arky, LSU, OM. So far, it hasn't been done. Not even close. You want to sit back and MAKE him pass, you'll learn that he's an equally good passer.

NOt being arrogant, just realistic.

I haven't heard/read any Bama fan say Bama is going to stop Cam Newton -- they're not, but it's ignorant to think that the two best defensive minds in college football aren't going to have some kind of plan.

The main thing with Cam is what we did last year in the SECCG with Tebow. If you overpursue him in the pass rush, he's going to take off for 5-10 every time, and eventually break off the big one. If we can keep from doing that, we stand a chance of containing that potent offense.

Are these the same defensive minds that made bama look so good against USCe or Utah or Florida with Percy Harvin?

Quit flaming dude, this is somewhat constructive comments on how either team think they will fair against their competition in the IB.

First off, don't say "y'all" because I have never said we would stop him. Second, it's arrogant for fans to think their defense can stop him, but saying he can't be stopped is "just being realistic"? If saying he CAN be stopped is arrogant, then saying he CAN'T be stopped is just as arrogant

Yeah but he was the only real playmaker they had last year (spare me any "Cam is your entire team" drivel as well all know by now that he is not). And Tebow isn't as explosive a rusher as Cam.

Well maybe you haven't and I'm not going to go checking all of your posts to make sure of that so I'll take you at your word, but I've seen many of your fans saying you're going to stop him. And when I say "stop," I'm not merely talking about slowing him down, that can be done. When I say "stop" I mean "stop." And you know what I mean when I say "stop."

Cam isn't your entire offense, but he's the driving force behind it. Dyer is good, McCaleb can take off, and that WR (can't remember his name atm) has great hands.

Please give the ball to Fannin. A lot.

It's possible to stop him. That's not being arrogant, it's just the truth. He is not invincible, he can be stopped. Whether anyone will do it remains to be seen, but it can be done

You can stop him from running all over you, or slow him down. You can't do that AND stop McCaleb, and Dyer, AND stop the passing game too. Not saying every win is automatic, but there's a lot more to this offense then Cam...Cam just makes all the rest of it go AT THIS LEVEL.

Auburn will spank the tahd. They have a good enough front to slow down the run and Alabama's defense is liable to give up big plays.
