AU fans will always be searching for new D coordinators until they finally admit that their defensive problems are not due to talent or coaching, but rather to their offensive scheme.

We now have a defensive coach on our staff. It is over for the rest of the SEC.

Considering that your defense ranked better than your offense this year, I would be worried about finding a QB.

True, there's no way Auburn could beat OK State.

auburn fighting to keep state away from fourth place. I dont think it will be a enough this is the year merlins grinds them up.

at least 5 out of 7 is better than 5 out of 6.

If your head coach is a defensive mind and you're celebrating over your DC hire, you have the wrong head coach.

Not gonna go that far yet. I just know they better find an offense or they're screwed. They're starting to look about as dysfunctional as Florida.

When compared to Ted Roof he sure looks like it at this point.

Kinda like when LSU fans celebrated when their OC last year was fired, and they're in the MNC game right now?

state gets them at home, i dont think state will be great but eventually merlins will beat someone besides ole miss, this year its probably the barn and a&m. We all know it wont be LSU or bama. auburn will handle up on ole miss and a&m so the battle is for fourth in the west.

Well...Les Miles is supposedly an offensive minded coach and us LSU fans were bitching about Crowton and excited about the Kragthorpe hire. I'd say that has worked out well for us. Though it does look like we are running the Les Miles' offense.

I keep thinking this and Merlins keeps proving me wrong. If he didn't beat this year's AU team, it is hard to believe he will beat next year's.
