got MSU and San Jose St. at home, then Arky and UK on the road. It wouldn't shock me if they were 6-1 after those games.
that probably says more about the SEC not being great than Auburn, if they win those 3 games.

They were 21-21 with LSU in the 2nd half. LSU did sit Fournette, but still. JJ starting running the ball and the offense looked like it was finding an identity.
Yep.
I don't think they're a bad team. I don't think they're a good one either.

I don't think they are so much a bad team, but more handicapped by a bad qb. I didn't expect the defense to be great, but I also didn't expect the offense to hang them out to dry. There is plenty of talent on offense, but there isn't much they can do to score if JJ can't make basic throws and get them the ball. The defense is horrible because they've been put in a position of having to completely shut teams down for AU to have a chance and they obviously don't have the bodies, talent or whatever excuse you wanna throw in there. Gus has done a poor job of accepting the fact the JJ is a headcase right now, and should be sitting on the bench instead of continuing to throw him out there to the detriment of the team.

were hoping that Muschamp would be able to make chicken salad out of chicken shite, but that's just not possible. Frankly, Auburn hasn't fielded a good defense since Tubberville left and it's embarrassing.
Told my wife this last night.

May be so, but if you're 6-1 and gaining confidence you can be a dangerous team to play.

maybe but it doesn't seem likely they win the west now, having lost to LSU who is one of the two favorites to win it. Auburn is basically playing for a chick fila bowl berth at best now.

malzahn is like sumlin; offense oriented and let the chips fall for defense. sure, both are possibly correcting that with the hire of top notch DC's. but they both better start emphasizing recruiting on that side of the ball and not put all of their best athletes on the offense.
also, no matter what the young crowd say, TOP is important to a defense; they are on the field less so will be fresher.

Judging by your team's performance Thursday night Clemson is about even with Auburn, and certainly isn't any better.

Thanks for telling everyone what they already know.
We still have a lot of work to do to meet our November schedule. Hoping BH6 is developed by then and LF7 is eternally healthy... along with the rest of our guys.

Dak Prescott is going to eat Auburn for lunch.

I sat right behind their bench. They mentally got beat really quick, was surprised at this.
