Frick Fox blows so hard at everything sports related

That they do. They have ruined MLB coverage. Wish it had stayed with NBC.

Not bad for a school that hasn't had a winning conference record in either basketball or baseball since 2009.

This deal won't include televising football. All 14 teams gave up their football television rights to the conference.

I hope so. I don't want to watch our next game against them on Fox. Fox is awful. Not quite as bad as NBC, but pretty close. It always looks like a low-budget indie production. I have no opinion on other sports on Fox, but I can't stand the football games.

Fox Sports is the Under Armour of sports coverage

And Learfield Sports is different?? It's all a shell game. Learfield is owned by a private equity group who paid too much money for it and will eventually sell to some other group. Happens over and over again. Happened with IMG, and ISP before that too. They few guys at the top make bank and everyone else gets fricked. Now it's got the Fox brand to buoy it for a bit, but the names are interchangeable and there's not a nickels worth of difference among any of those rights holders. They broker on-campus rights, radio, ancillary TV programming and some digital and print inventory (and sometimes marks for promotional activation) and they sell it as sponsorships. Been the same business model since Host started it 30+ years ago. Consolidation breeds fractionalization which breeds consolidation and so on. Like I said... Ain't a nickel's worth of difference among any of the 3rd party rights holders.

Auburn better share this equally with Texas A&M, or they will leave the conference.

Ignorant post. You have absolutely no idea what was going on. You probably believe that Texas got paid $15M a year to air 2/3 football games and programs about student life too.
