Auburn has signed a deal that will give FOX Sports exclusive multimedia rights and sponsorship sales right for the athletic programs, according to a release from the university on Monday.

It is reported to be a 10-year agreement that will net the Tigers roughly $120 million, according to Forbes’ Jason Belzer.

According to the release, Home Team Sports (owned by FOX Sports) will manage “athletics-related radio, corporate hospitality, in-venue signage, social media integration, promotional activities, and intellectual property rights, as well as other mutually agreed upon inventory” for the university.

After reading that story I'm wondering if this deal includes Auburn football games being broadcasted on Fox as well. I don't see how it can though with the CBS & ESPN/SEC Network contracts already being in effect. But on the other hand $120,000,000 is a lot of money for basically just radio.

This deal won't include televising football. All 14 teams gave up their football television rights to the conference.

They must be reaching for straws to sign an SEC West bottom feeder. Sad day for Fox sports.

I see this deal as a way for Fox to get their foot in the SEC door. With so much pending uncertainty with the Big 12, Fox needs a fall back plan if the Texas conference goes belly up

Auburn better share this equally with Texas A&M, or they will leave the conference.
