i can't see any normal non-Clemson and non-Auburn fan doing comparisons between the two programs. lol

the obvious poitn is the two progrmas haven't played much in modern era and AUburn is 3-3 against Clemson since 1971. their 3 wins were by 3, 3, and 4 points.

to be fair titles were glorified beauty contest prior to the BCS and Playoff...even the BCS had beauty contest aspects that affected its validity from time to time. Auburn has 5 legit claims to titles and about 4 more bammer claims. '13, '14, '57, '83, '10 and they should have been given the chance to beat USC in 2004. They certainly possed more NFL talent at every position but linebacker. If you want to split hairs they should have won it in 1910 as well, 100 years later we made could on that poll bias. ;)
