arkie gets excited about 7-6 seasons, I simply start looking to next year.

Then why are you here commenting and still watching this season?

I am hoping to see effort the rest of the way, I want to watch the young guys play and hope they do well, I think it is important to get to a bowl game for next year so I am hoping we can find two more wins...That enough?

So you'll be excited by 7-6- so yes, that's enough I suppose.

I think hoping for two more wins so you can get extra practices during bowl season and being excited about going 7-6 are two very different things. But hey, I wasn't educated in arkie either. Maybe its semantics to you?

as an auburn fan i dont see any way we beat the pigs--kentucky should have beat us--we are about as bad as 2012--havent seen a single explanation that i can accept as to how we got so bad so fast---its almost like gus lost his motivation over night--had a star rb from a team in the 70s approach me the other day and ask if i had any idea what was going on--says he getting lots of calls from ex teammates asking what his opinion is--no one knows

Nobody knows why ya'll haven't played very well but have all that talent?

Sounds like ya'll don't want to admit Gus isn't working out

You think Bielema is 'working out'?

Both teams went to bowl games last year. We both got lots of extra reps for the young guys. We come out this year with high expectations and REALITY set in!

Bert's still rebuilding, so can't be fully judged

Gus didn't have to rebuild. He's had a roster full of 4 and 5 star recruits that he helped recruit every year he's been at Auburn.

in a game that will stir memories of special olympics past, AU should pull out a close win. special attention should be paid to the retard slap fight that will ensue when Arky is on offense against AU's D. I fully expect viewers to lose at least 10 IQ points after watching this one...which could spell BIG trouble for many of the Arky faithful. O.T.S.S.

Uhm our offense isn't bad. Auburn's defense however is very, very bad. Especially the front seven. woof.

y'all fricked

Excuses. If Arkansas doesn't have talent at this point it's nobody's fault but Bielema and his staff.
How many years will it take him to rebuild?

wat

that's not an excuse, that's a fact Gus can't hide from.

bert's had two seasons to build depth. his first recruiting class doesn't count since he didn't have time to build relationships.

that plus petrino's 2011 and 2012 classs...

2011 Recruiting Class
33 Commits
7 Players still on the team

2012 Recruiting Class
24 Commits
7 Players still on the team

year 4 or 5 will be when bert's redshirt program should start showing true results

Yeah, that was obvious after I read the post below of yours- and it was after an edit.

How long should it take? Nick went to an SEC title game year 2 and BCS title game year 3. Urban went to a BCS title game year 2. Chiz went to a BCS title game year 2. Gus went to a BCS title game year 1. Thankfully, bert is building something though, am I right?

These same sort of reasons about player attrition, misses, etc...explain why Auburn isn't very good either. Bottom line is simple if either team had a decent QB they would likely be making a bit of noise but they don't at least Auburn has a young QB who shows promise.

I think Muschamp is overrated. His good defenses at Florida were the result of good defensive coordinators not named Muschamp. One is in the NFL. The other is at Michigan pitching shutouts in several games. Look what Auburn's defense is doing- or not doing rather.

Yep.

Will probably look closer to the Kentucky game, but with Arky winning.
