Haha, A&M is going to finish last in the West.

You seem confused. Read the OP, this thread isn't about "anything can happen" scenarios, it's about reasonably possible losses. NIU isn't one of them for Arkansas.

Tennessee:
Only locks are Chattanooga and Arky State IMO.
The rest are very lose able.

Most to Least
Auburn
Bama
Florida
Ole Miss
Wisconsin
Arkansas
TAMU
MSU
I factor in Arky before MSU and TAMU because we always play close, same reason why Ole Miss is ahead of Wisconsin even though Wisconsin is a "neutral site".

I foresee the West being an absolute cluster frick

Well, eventually Bert has to win an SEC game... so A&M could lose to Arkansas. About the same chances I have to win the lottery, though.

Possible upset from Tennessee, but I don't see it happening at home. Weirder shite has happened to South Carolina though.
ETA: How the frick I forgot Auburn is beyond me. Our toughest game.
No. No Noooooooo. Absolutely no way in hell.
It is forbidden and should never be spoken of again.

Some actual quality posts in this thread and we've made it three pages without any trolls. Well done everyone
Ole Miss in tiers:
1.)Alabama, Auburn, at LSU
2.)Mississippi State, at Texas A&M, Boise State
3.)at Arkansas, at Vanderbilt
So eight total as of today.

I would slide Boise St. to tier 3 and put Tennessee and Louisiana in a Tier 4, called WAOM tier. Louisiana has a lot of returners and a good QB. I think we win both tier 4 games, but I think both will be closer than they should be because of where they fall on the schedule. Glad they are both at home.

I've got the Auburn-Arkansas game on my calendar as a possible upset IF Nick Marshall is suspended. Season opener, new QB, plus if Arky can get some first downs they will really try to milk the clock and keep Gus's offense on the sidelines.
thoughts?
thoughts?

I don't think Marshall will be suspended.
I think playing in Auburn is a big factor.
I think AU would win with JJ.
I do think Arky keeps it more competitive than the current early line indicates.
Arky will likely be tougher at home and later in the season.
Those are the reasons I didn't include Arky in the op. However, it was a close call for me.

If Arky can run the ball, play decent defense, avoid turnovers on offense, and get a few turnovers on D that turn into TD's, they can beat anyone.
Doesn't this pretty much go for every team ever in the history of football? You win the turnover battle and your chances of winning skyrocket.

really? i thought Gus was supposed to be a disciplinarian. My understanding is Auburn's policy says no suspension for a first failed DT, but this was an arrest.

i think so too. big advantage there

yeah, maybe. but you gotta admit that if Marshall is suspended yall will be nervous going into that game.

LSU lost all its offensive skill players. I'd say that every SEC game is a potential for a loss - especially considering Miles may not bother to get the team ready to play - See Ole Miss last year as an example of this.
