I see a very good year at 8-4...and a great year at 9-3 regular season, with a chance to win a bowl game to go to 10-3......and that is absolute tops.

Fishing is like trolling, which is saying stuff just to elicit emotional, argumentative responses or to trick people into believing you actually believe the outrageous thing you said.
A spiderman thread is when the OP says something dumb or is dumb and posters band together to derail the thread, or in my opinion improve the thread by posting spiderman memes. Although the message in the OP wasn't that outrageous, VC is an outrageous poster who spends 95% of his time flaming Arkansas, so IMO he deserves to have his threads spideyed.

Yes, questioning how Auburn is going to go from being not competitive to winning the West is quite dumb. Spiderman threads, now talk about intelligent....must be all of 22 years old..if that. If this is the new trend, then the arkansas posters who love to post about winning championships, should get a lot of spiderman threads. Btw, I'm an outrageous poster? Everything I say is fact....it irritates you possibly, but the facts are that arky has NEVER won a championship as a member of the SEC. I honestly never had anything against arkansas until I saw the ridiculous posters on this site always talking about being elite, etc....I'm like what the frick...you have never even won anything in the SEC...so...thus the flame against arkansas, which is not that hard to do given their results.

Hey, want to talk about Arkansas in 2011....imo, they were incredibly lucky to be in the Cotton Bowl...did you see how ole miss (which was the worst SEC team in my lifetime) choked away that game, as well as vandy choking away to arkansas as well....very lucky to beat both OLE MISS AND VANDY and then the classic choke job that a&m seemed to pull in the second half over and over again....not to mention the absolute complete skull frickings that LSU and bama put on arkansas. VERY OVERRATED 2011 team, should have lost to Ole Miss, A&M, and Vandy, plus LSU and Bama. As I've said, 2012 will be lucky to be 9-3 at the very best.

It's a valid point. It is much like some Arkansas fans thinking that it doesn't matter they lost their offensive coach, that they have a lame duck, and that they got a new DC...they still gonna pull the upset over bama and coast to the SEC and National titles. It is ridiculous thinking by auburn fans to think they will suddenly get very good, and it is ridiculous by arky fans to even think they have a chance to win the SEC (especially since they have never won it before).

Will LSU close the gap on Bama? Should we even play the season? Bama beat Auburn 42-14 and LSU 21-0, seems we both have a long way to go. I have said we improve, record is 9-3
