K-state relishes the underdog role. Thursday night games, if a study were done, would probably have the highest percentage of home underdogs winning.
Kansas state isn't going to beat themselves, and will dip into their bag of tricks. I expect a close game that can go either way in the end. I actually expect KSU to jump out to an early lead, auburn to claw back into the game, and then a nail biter finish that can go either way.

shouldn't have too much trouble, atmosphere obviously plays a part and makes it more difficult, but i believe we're talented enough to overcome an emotional edge that they'll have.

This isn't the same type of Kansas State team we've seen in recent years. In fact, this team is probably worse than last year's team. Their coaching is great, their talent and players are not. Their first team barely beat their second team in the spring game, FWIW.

We love to play traditional conference bottom dwellers like Kstate and pretend its a big game.
