overall as far as recruiting rankings go it is the best team Auburn will have fielded to date.
17 starters from a team that not only went 8-4 but had a 6 game win streak that included monster victories against pretty good arky and msu teams(56-3 and 35-14 respectively) This was done with one of the most horid play calling of all time and the most fragile qb in auburn's recent history. Given the change made at QB and OC, logic says that we should win at least 1 or 2 more games. 1 or 2 more games better is a 10 win season and if you can win 10 games you most certainly can win them all. The Defense kept our team in every single game and there is no reason to think they wont this year.
Auburn doesn't need a world beater we just need a healthy QB from game 1 to the last with our terrific running game. History shows in the last 7 years when auburn has played with 1 main guy at QB the whole season they have success.

All the starters have pretty much been listed. The thing that gets me is everyone says Auburn doesn't have the talent and star power as say LSU and Alabama. That's false..out of all the starters Mike Horton is the only consensus 3 star. Even the two deep is mostly 4* talent.

Having to ask his wife for an allowance as shes the breadwinner of his family must make him feel very inadequate. It would explain why he's such a miserable and bitter person.

That's what I remember. He started a thread showing pictures of himself going on hikes in the mountains while his wife worked and supported him and he volunteered at a non profit organization

I'm not sure this is the most talented team I have ever seen at AU. Probably 1988, 1994, or 2004 had more elite level talent. I am absolutely certain that this is the deepest team AU has fielding in 30 years (safety seems to be the exception) and by far the biggest team I have ever seen at AU. I was astonished at just how big the OL and front 7 on defense were. It's the first team I have seen in the last 10 years that I looked at and said ,"we look comparable in size to Alabama"
