Coaches also don't normally go downhill this fast.

This is the worst team in NCAA history 2 yrs removd from a national championship.

How are you the only person not seeing this situation for what it is?

The writing is on the wall. Do you see this program getting anywhere close to good under Chizik? Nobody does.

He's a good guy, I'm sure, but he's a cheerleader more than a coach.

In that case, give him the fricking towel and send Trooper packing.

We all knew he was a CEO style coach that lived and died by the assistants he hired. He made all the right moves his first two years to win over the Auburn fanbase. Too bad his true colors came out.

It's like Tyrone Willingham and Charlie Weiss at Notre Dame: Did great their first year or two with the talent their inherited, then after that, it went to fricking shite in a shite basket.

Fug, I hope so. Our RT got destroyed tonight. I've never seen anything quite like that. I try to go into every game with an objective frame of reference and do not even sweat rivalry games too much, but I felt sorry for some of those young men tonight.

Wallace I think could be a good SEC QB, but if this keeps up with the way that Oline is blocking he will not survive too long in the SEC.

What if they beat the gumps? Would that make their season?

Why now? Why not wait till December and save some money

It would actually save Auburn money to can Chizik now. Our monthly payment for his buyout is less than his monthly payment under his contract. It's not a lump sum buyout, and it doesn't drop by $2.5 million Dec. 1

We got beat by Texas A&M at home by a red-shirt freshman QB.

Am I in the wrong thread? I can't feel my face.

I'm not your biggest fan, but I hope you are right on this one.

Auburn obviously deserved all this, because nothing short of divine intervention could possibly stuffed a season so far down the crapper.

It's like Jesus decided they deserved the death penalty that the NCAA wouldn't give them.

In all seriousness though, Chizik never should have been hired in the first place. Auburn fans should have expected this after they hired a coach that had just gone 2-10. I was expecting this fall two years ago (though not to this insane degree).

Still, with all of Auburn's talent and resources, there is just no excuse for this. I went through Sherman's first year while I was in college and it hurt my soul. I understand your pain, Auburn. I do.
