It works, but I was mainly talking about the 5 star part. He will probably decommit soon.

Why now? Why not wait till December and save some money

Because Chizik will not hold them to the Dec 1st date. He'd take it now.

This is just the talk tonight that its over and the coaches know it. My friend said he thinks it should be announced on Monday, but we'll have to see if they go through win the announcement. The coaches know tonight though.

Can't believe they would pull the trigger on on this less than 22 months after a MNC. I know he's 2-8 and headed down hill, but this would damn fast for a MNC coach to be fired.

You can tell that he has packed it up, no way he could come back next season with the fans support.

You clearly are not up to speed on Auburn football and what all has taken place in the last 22 months.

Losing all your games is almost as big of a deal as winning them.

Don't take it personal, but do you require a seeing eye dog?

This year's team could possibly be the worst Auburn team in history.

I could see VG doing it. You got to feel bad that guy coming into the issues down there.

Part of me wants to assign some blame to him as well b/c of the poor tackling, but, I will hold off until he's had at least 2-3 yrs to get things going his way. This is assuming the new coach wants him.

I know they suck - but coaches never get fired this fast.
