Oh wow... I've been on the road today ... don't tell me, Auburn fans wanting to fire Gus after losing a game? My God, this shite is so predictable.

Most coaching changes don’t work out. Fan is short for fanatic.

Well it’s your team—you’d know more than I do.
I follow your program from the periphery.

All I’m saying: Y’all are complaining about a season where you played in a Jan 1 bowl.
But for a game or two, you could’ve been ranked higher.
Be careful what you wish for.
I’ll shut up now.

Happy New Year!

Maybe you should. What was that ? $49 mil to Aunt Gussie? We all were laughing like mad - $49 mil to a man already on your payroll, a man, rumor had it, was on the hot seat- all because of a 2 game lucky streak. It was great seeing the AU fans melt like an ice cube on a hot Alabama afternoon a couple of weeks later. Absolutely Loved it!!!
We love Aunt Gussie! Save us a seat on the Gus Bus. May he stay for decades. Y’all are made for each other

Exactly. With just a mediocre offense, Auburn is undefeated right now. The offense is shite, and that is what Gus was hired for. Why keep someone who is hurting your team from being better?

Auburn was ready to let him walk this year. Nobody came calling.

Because no one wants to take on that crazy contract y’all gave him.

His buyout isn’t that big if he leaves on his own

He's an average coach but he consistently plays Saban tough. And he was doing it even in those long ago days when Saban was still Saban. It doesn't make a lot of sense.

Why would he do that? I think he likes being HC in a place they reward mediocrity with $49 mill contracts. Who knows? If he somehow manages to get lucky and string together 2 more huge wins they might pay him more than Jimbo.

Every single coaching staff in the SEC would have won 1-3 more games with Auburn's talent. The complete lack of ability to prepare a team falls directly at Gus' feet.

In the last 3 years we haven't beaten a single team we shouldn't have beaten, we are batting below .500 in games against pick'em teams and have several loses to teams we shouldn't have lost to under any circumstance.

Probably would’ve won a few NCs with Petrino, if they would’ve went through with the hire in 2003.

He would have cratered your program. Look at the mess he left at Arkansas and twice at Loserville. He does the same shite everywhere he goes.

Georgia fan talking about how mediocre a team is is like bragging bc you just got a new pack of adult diapers. Maybe if Georgia put on some adult diapers they wouldn’t be shitting themselves in big games. Look it’s not 1980

Stopped by the Michigan Board a few times. They are in a conundrum with Harbaugh. He is winning 9 ballgames a year. No bowl game in 4 years, not beat OSu. But they are afraid to get someine different could lead to Rich Rod/Brady Hoke days, tooo funny!

There isn't a single Auburn fan that cares. The idea that Gus might take advice or allow someone else to game plan and call plays isn't happening so we are just waiting for whatever point in time when things finally fall apart. As bad as the OL was this season I believe it will be much worse next year and IMO Bo is likely going to get hurt. A loss to UNC and below .500 in SEC play might be enough to get Auburn back to a collegiate level coach and offensive staff.

Yeah we should go hire jumbo for 75m guaranteed.

I’ll take hiring advice from your program under advisement

This is spot on.

Jimbo and Gus are both 8-4 coaches. The difference is Auburn didn’t give Gus $75 million.

How is it “spot on?”
I wasn’t giving advice.
I don’t pay Fisher’s salary.
I’m but a message board commoner.
