UGA was more dominant in the 2nd half than Auburn was, despite the identical score.

Not sure thats 100 percent fair. Auburn had a 80 minute rain delay. We were tearing Arky a new a-hole prior to that delay. we came back and finished, but the delay was something of a factor.

I think using the term "hang on" is inaccurate period though.

Hangs on = implies you had a lead and the other team came back somewhat and was threatening to overtake you and didn't.

FSU hung on.

I think the phrase "hang on" is being way overblown here. Doesn't a team always technically "hang on" in every win?

The bottom line is that Clemson is A LOT better than Arkansas.

I have heard some people say Clemson was supposed to have a great defense, but I am not sure why anybody believes that if you look at their defense from last year

Gave up 35 points to Georgia
Gave up 51 points to Florida State
Gave up 31 points to South Carolina
Gave up 35 points to Ohio State
Gave up 31 points to Georgia Tech
Gave up 27 points to Maryland
Really didn't play anybody else worth a crap

Arkansas likely isn't better than anyone save Vandy and possibly Kentucky. For all their supposed improvement, they lost to Auburn by more than they did in 2013. People forget that the game was semi-competitive last year as well.

Their problem is the same as it was a year ago: While they can run effectively on most teams, they have an awful defense and once it inevitably becomes a track meet they don't have the ability to keep up offensively. They get behind, start throwing more and it goes downhill from there.

They lost on Saturday the exact same way they lost in 2013. The EXACT same way.

Doesn't seem to be very impressive, does it? I think I got my impression from the Clemson fans themselves...and that is ALWAYS dangerous!

But, seems I saw some "experts" saying their front 7 was supposed to be special. And they did ok for the first three quarters, but wore down.
