It also has to do with the fact that AU doesn't have as much talent as UA and their defense is terrible.

It's not great, but Bama's not a juggernaut on offense.

I think blowing out Ole Miss would show some progression but it wouldn't change my mind because they still wouldn't have played a really good team on the road. Auburn's good, I'm not arguing that, but even Auburn fans would probably admit the stars have aligned a bit this year. Every time you turn the TV on they're playing at Jordan-Hare and every one of their toughest games outside of the Alabama game is at home. If they come to Tuscaloosa with the West on the line and win though they make all of that a moot point obviously.

We may not be a juggernaut, but the offense has looked pretty good at times this year.

What concerns me the most is a lot of the sacks McElroy has taken have been due to good coverage. I'm not sure AU can consistently get good enough coverage, especially the way Julio's playing.
