Sorry I didn't know that scoring defense didn't matter.

I'm pretty sure that the defense that gives up 15.8 points a game is better than the one that gives up 17.1.

Something about goalposts....

ETA:

FWIW the gap widens further when only considering P5 stats. LSU is at 16.6 ppg and Auburn is at 20.1

Oklahoma caused our scoring numbers to go up.

The truth is......Auburn had a better D than LSU last year. You could see it in the Auburn/LSU game. Auburn moved the ball up and down the field, but had to settle for FG's. LSU moved the ball up and down your side of the field.

Stidham and Patterson both looking good. SEC might finally have some good QBs again this year.

Stidham is the real deal. We just have to keep him healthy.

We'll count SEC only then

LSU - 17.6

Auburn - 18.4

I can keep going

Nice revisionist history dude. Both offenses sucked in the game. If LSU had a few more seconds they would have won.

Foaming at the mouth over Stidhams success against Auburns second team D is slightly premature. That defense is straight up shite.

You can't exactly beat your chest about slowing down a Les Miles offense especially when that was the game that got him fired.

The throws may be wide open but there's too many college QBs that miss those wide open throws. He's throwing accurate darts.
