The fact that Missouri has represented the East twice since the last time UT has is a pretty good indication that they have been better than UT recently, at least good enough to win their division. How long do you think UT can claim to be among the 6 best SEC teams without even representing the division when other teams that you don't count among the 6 best do win the division?
edit: Well, and the fact that only Vanderbilt and Kentucky have a worse winning pct in the last 10 years is another indication that UT may not be among the best 6 teams right now.
Personally, I agree with the poster that said the upper 6 tier idea is bogus. From year to year it is often a different 6 best teams and those years that Missouri played in the title game, they were at least among the 6 best teams in the SEC.

Why didn't AU support Bama's proposal to go to 9 games?
I think they should.
But I do not think Fl, GA, SC would ever go along with that.

As someone who couldn't care less about the Big 6 idea. That isn't even what the concept is about. No one argues that the big six is always the best six teams each year.

And put 4 of the Big 6 in one division and make the schedule even harder for the teams in the East?
Yeah, that's not going to happen.
Yeah, that's not going to happen.

And now they are having 4 win seasons and consistently lose to Kentucky. Interesting that you left that out.
Tennessee has finished 2nd in the East in back to back years. Missouri is at what, 7th?

A two year window qualifies as "consistently losing to" Kentucky. With a 1st year coach to boot.

Do you Auburn fans think most AU fans support this? Do you think it is likely to happen?
edit: That may have been discussed but I haven't read the thread
I think a lot of other AU fans would like it (I would) getting FL back would be huge. But I think no one would want to lose the Iron Bowl.
I still think it is very unlikely.

It is always funny to see you deflect from the actual discussion because you can't defend your position at all.

Old huddie is without question the biggest clown in your fanbase, and that says a lot.

Huddie has finished his morning bus route and cleared a 3 hour window so he can set us all straight again

Tell it to the UT fan, because he's the one that responded to...
'The whole "Big 6" angle is bunk'
By commenting that...
"When someone besides Alabama, VOLS, Florida, Georgia, Auburn or LSU wins the SEC, we can have this discussion."
And then, with your horrible grammar, you later replied...

Everytime I read a post by Huddie I imagine an extremely over weight middle aged guy sitting at his home office snacking on a bottle of syrup and a jar of mayonnaise. Flipping through his notepad of Alabama stats going back to the 1800s because Alabama football is his only means of happiness in this world.
Anyways, Warriors in 7
