Buffs in the double bonus and Auburn in the bonus with 9 minutes to go. This game may not end until 3

Aubs need to get Nick Marshall and Jeremy Johnson out there and get Cinnamon on the football field.

Its obvious Bruce needs some better shooters.

He did not recruit shooters at Tennessee. He was extremely lucky to inherit Lofton, JaJuan Smith and CJ Watson. All were perfect fits for his system. My guess is he will recruit better shooters at AU.

Talk about a shooting drought. Zero chance to stay in a game like that. AU will be hurting until they can establish a post game.

Nick Marshall hits a sick J

Jeremy Johnson was a baller in HS

Hell those 2 and De'Runnya Wilson would make a dirty pick up game.

They need to put Cinnamon opposite to Lawson next season at DE

We have 8 guys with Mason being out on the road @Midnight to 2AM in high altitude. What did you expect?

We played tough for 3/4 of the game. Got worn down.

Not a big follower of college basketball, but Bruce seems to have expected to make up for the lack of good post game by moving the ball (which they were doing extremely well), but this team can't shoot.

Damn I just remembered that in 2007 or 2008 we played UT at home and I was going home from an area around the basketball arena called the Vista.

I come up to a stop light and glance at the car next to me. There was nothing remarkable about it (white sedan) except for the hideous orange blazer in the back. I wonder to myself "who would wear that hideous shade of orange around Columbia" and look at who was driving the car.

I swear to God it was Bruce Pearl. Guess he got a rental and was leaving the Vista after getting something to eat or maybe drove himself and was just getting into town off of 126.

It took me a couple seconds to actually realize it was Bruce Pearl in the car next to me and that we played UT the next day so by the time I started rolling down my window to talk some shite he had turned right at the red light.

CSB I know, but seeing Pearl wearing something besides that ugly shade made me remember that experience

Bruce has never been a big X's & O's guys. They rely a lot on defensive pressure and pace.

I like he doesn't think thats a real thing. The Denver Nuggets have made a living over the years at being dominant at home thanks to the altitude.

Yeah, high altitude reaks havoc on opposing teams late in games. Pace has been a dagger late, but Pearls style dictates it, plus AU has no post presence. It's doubtful AU is too tired though, they're just sucking it up from the field. That's life with no post presence.

As bad as Auburns shooting has been this half, I'm willing to give them the benefit of doubt, that the altitude is bothering them. The first thing to go is your legs and then you can't hit anything.
