We don't have a QB that can throw. Even if Pettway plays it won't matter unless they throw Barrett out and somehow he has a miraculous outing for a freshman in his biggest game of his life.

If the injury is a hip flexor I guess it could be possible. However, Pettway is the workhorse so if he's not 100% then he would not be effective as they need him, IMO.

He won't be 100% and without any passing game would be a tackling dummy for that front seven Bama puts on the field. I personally wouldn't want that for Pettway. Let's face it. We have a good defense but our offense is injured at key positions and has changed the entire effectiveness of what we can do.

I mean look what shitty UGA did to us Saturday. Bama D and offense is on a whole different level or two than UGA.

Just being real here.

Nope. Jesus hates us.

ETA

SEE, just got the update that he's out for this weekend. Gus will wait until 5 minutes before kickoff to tell us that the whole team can't play because they have mono and we'll have to send the girls field hockey team out there

Which is exactly why Malzahn should have his contract extended at least through Trump's presidency. Don't kick family when they're down.

I don't have an issue with Malzahn at this time. That post is wasted on me. I'm sure it will get a rise out of some of my fellow Aubies though.

I could've told you Pettway would be out for the A&M game as soon as he pulled up in the Vandy game.

I don't see why our fans care what Malzahn tells us about injuries. It's not our right to know or anything and the less we know, the less opponents know

I agree.

A healthy Pettway would've been the best back Bama faced all year. A really good running back like Pettway could give a defense like Bama's fits.

Fournette??

Also,...a defense like Bama's? you mean the best run defense in the country?
