I guess "most of us" didn't watch any of the iron bowl except for the last second then, lol.

Seriously, what part of that game would make anybody think that Alabama would've won in overtime? I mean, I really want to know. Most of the Alabama fans I know admit that Saban was scared of OT, and think the only thing he should've done differently would be to have let AJ try to win it with a manageable 39 yard TD pass instead of a 57 yard FG attempt from a true freshman.

Was it how well Alabama's kicker was doing that would make you put your money on them in OT?
Was it how well their offense performed in the red zone all game against Auburn's pitiful red zone defense?
Was it Alabama's clearly proven ability to be able to stop Auburn's terrible run game in the red zone?
I seriously would love to hear what makes you think Alabama would have won that game in overtime.
You do realize that in college overtime, each team gets the ball at the 25 yard line, right?

I have come to the final conclusion that you really dont have a clue or you are still in High School, or scarier middle school.

Be honest.....no you weren't.

I was stuck in the denial phase until the Sugar Bowl. 45-31 allowed me to quit dwelling on 34-28. My grief over the Iron Bowl is probably unhealthy, but this is my first time experiencing grief over a sporting event. I don't know how to handle it or move on especially when I'm a part of an SEC community that will mention the recent past.

The recent past? Give the offseason on the SECr a few more months and people will start arguing about games from the 70's. Hell, I still get pissed about the 1985 Iron Bowl and that a-hole Van Tiffin.

I'm glad we are the first SEC champ that played some close games with a good break or two. I wish more fans could experience winning a few games by less than one score.

The 14-0 2007 SEC champion LSU Tigers dominated everyone and left no doubt.

I will go ahead and say what he denies, we beat ourselves in 2010 and the refs cheated us last year. Anyone that denies that is stupid, out cowterds will be back to 5 losses next year.

Keep telling yourself whatever you need to.

Here is "the reality". EVERY team wins games every single year that they could have lost. Some lose games they easily could have won. It's called competition. Things like that happen when teams and individuals compete. Here is "more reality". Auburn put themselves into position to win those 12 games. "That's reality".

I still think it is funny that none of you know the rule regarding a horsecollar.

The reality is Auburn out scored 12 of the 14 teams it faced. The rest is pointless.

Auburn - the reality Kudos to Auburns gritty season! BUT, they easily could've been 9-3 playing in a non-BCS bowl. UGA had that game won.....Bama was careless and most of us wouldve had our money on them in OT. So, all the statements of them being the top team next year are seriously flawed. Gimmicks are good for one solid year. Next year defenses will have closed the gap significantly as well.

Let me guess, you think the 2013 LSU team had more talent than the 2013 Auburn team? Amirite?

Okay, you went 10-3 with a coach that's been here for years. We took less talent and went 12-2 and came within 13 seconds of winning a bcs ncg, closer than LSU has been in 6 years. All with a coach that's been here a year and now will be returning most all of those players and have his first collegiate returning QB ever.

Gus like he did this year will look at what he has and adjust the offense around their strengths which may not be the same as last year.

If you think it will be the same then you're going to be as productive as a cat chasing a light.

Not sure how you leave MSU out of this argument. State had the lead with 30 seconds left.
