You appear to know very little about the Alabama fanbase and have probably spent very little time in the state of Alabama.

Having been to several Bama home games...Bama's fanbase is made up of mostly middle class & upper middle class suburban families, wealthy alumni and of course the students...that's pretty much all you see at Bama home games.

I don't know which game you were at but everytime I have been there it looked like the trailer parks were wide open. All I remember seeing of their fanbase was sweat pants and houndstooth.

Middle class=Sweat pants
Upper middle class=Houndstooth
Wealthy alumni=Houndstooth sweatpants

Is this how it works there?

Born in Pelham, moved to Madison when I was 12.
Went to Bob Jones.
Went to a private college out of state. Live in Dallas now.

My friends went to Bama, spent considerable time listening to their stories of being in Bidgood all day and how horrible Finance 302 & Dr. Downs is.
Actually came down & helped them on a project in Bruno Library.

Must have been at a State game.

UA is in Tuscaloosa.

It's kind of a preppy school. Lots of Lacoste and SUVS, probably bought by daddy.

State of Alabama population=x
1/3x is auburn
2/3x is bama
BDS holds 100k
2/3x>100k
The difference between the 2/3x and 100k are the updikes and other crazies of their fanbase.

So like Harvey, you have no affiliation to the school and are, also, a sidewalker.

I'm willing to bet you've never even been to Starkville, because after reading an asinine statement like that, I know you've never been to T-Town. I'm also certain UA has produced far more grads over the years than that community college you support. Not to mention UA has 13,000 more students than that pigfarm college over in Mississippi.

I know you're full of shite because even the Virginia Tech, Penn State and Michigan fans claimed 'Bama fans dress like they're going to church for football games. Alabama has a lot of fricked-up looking trashy fans all across this wasteland of a state, but you seldom see them in T-Town. Besides, you're a Mississippi State fan, so overalls and cowboy boots should be the norm for you, right?

If all he saw was rednecks when he went to Tuscaloosa, clearly he's a redneck who doesn't know where to find the nice people. I bet the closest he got was the Big Lots parking lot in Northport.

Sorry that reality doesn't fit your messageboard-world stereotypes and gifs.

It's just the way it is. I have no reason to make it up. It's just what I see when I go to Alabama home games and when I've ever been on their campus.

Sidewalker? My dad got his grad degree at Bama. But whatever. I'm not a fan.
