that you feel makes AU a mirage and unworthy of a top 10 ranking? Run D, ST play, Interior OL? Something specific not just bullshite, please.

what about him, specifically, is the weakness?

He doesn't throw many picks. He is fantastic at running the read option. Has improved throwing the deep ball.

Outside of having to throw in a monsoon for a half against LSU he has done very well passing the ball, especially in clutch time.

QB and overall talent level, but that's to beat Bama. I think y'all are deserving of a top ten ranking.

I wouldn't say I'm a non-believer but I think our inability to throw consistently, our inability to stop power run games, and an average secondary is what will keep us from beating an elite team like bama.

Run D...Do we know if the QB can put the team on his back with his arm against a quality D?

I have been impressed outside of that

Auburn gives up a LOT of yards both run and pass. That said, I think Auburn has earned it's ranking but do not see how they beat UGA or Bama.

So far, it's been slow starts against good opponents....

acc'd to recruiting rankings we're the 3rd most talented roster in the SEC. I'll admit Chizik underdeveloped that talent, but we seem to have overcome a lot of that in one season.

I think we have talent where you have to have talent to beat Bama.....the LOS. We go 12 deep on the DL and have 7 highly recruited, very very good OL that we rotate in.

But we're 3rd in the conference in scoring D because our Red Zone defense is absolutely fantastic. That seems to be a trending statistic that teams focus on, and we do that very well. We score TDs when we're inside the 20 and we force FGs when our opponents are.

Lack of balance on offense. I think your run game has been so good against average defenses that when you run up against a good defense that can shut it down will your passing game be able to operate with any efficiency? Also your D gives a lot of ground between the 20's but is pretty good in the red zone except to power running (see LSU).

I agree with this... good teams will not only move on us, but will finish in the redzone -- unlike Arkansas, MSU, Ole Miss, etc. I think a balanced offense like Bama and UGA will be very difficult for our defense to stop.

On offense, I do wish we would've developed the passing game more and kept marshall healthier.

You're 1 dimensional

I dont know if you should or shouldnt be in the top 10, but its why Bama is going to thump you, and UGA will beat you.

QB. Good game manager but to beat Bama he will need to step up big time. Iron bowl will be fun to watch this year.
