MSU scored 14 points.

Auburn's Defense is comparable to or worse than it's Defense the past 2 years.

RSF JLee beat Auburn in JH in 2008 and JJ beat Auburn last year. STFU.

Also, LSU's Defense is much better than the last 2 years. Again, STFU.

See how that works

letting Jefferson start most of the games will do that, were much better offensively with Lee taking the majority of the snaps.

Everyone knows this, no matter what their opinion on Lee is....

I agree. We have really small LBs and have never put together our defense under Robinson.

LSU will have more success shutting down Newton. Apart from Cam, Auburn has not much.

Their defense is shitty enough that LSU will win a close one.

3-2-6 son

Nevis, Mingo, Adams
Shep and Baker
PP, Mo, Trex, Brooks, Hatcher, and Taylor

and 3rd and Chavis is gone. He blitzes like crazy now instead of bending and not breaking.

If LSU is THAT much better with Lee in then seriously WTF??? Are the coaches that Stupid?? They get paid millions of year youd think they would be able to see something that is soooooooooo obvious.. I dont get it.

OP...I agree...but he's still 3rd and Chavis. Regardless of his stats...most coaches convert on 3rd and infinity against him.

I don't see cam running for 50 yards on 3rd...I see him doing it on 1st and 2nd. It'll be a close game and one of the two Lucky Tigers' will have their luck run out.

Jarrett Lee already beat Auburn at home two years ago, what makes you think he won't do it again?

Personally, I don't think Auburn can handle the pressure of 2 emotional SEC games in a row. They may fly high for the first quarter, then fizzle.

This is a big intangible.

Auburn 3rd down conversion rate vs BCS opponents - 46.58
LSU 3rd down conversion rate vs BCS opponents - 34.52

3rd and Roof?

3rd and Chavis.
There were glimpses of it last year. But, this year, I've been very pleased with the 3rd down D. Sometimes they do play too far back in coverage for my taste (beyond the 1st-down marker), but the blitzes have been consistent, well executed (disguised), and effective.

Believe this negatiger, if I thought we were too soft on 3rd downs, I'd gripe about it. So far, though, 3rd and Chavis seems to have been a UT phenomenon.

Emotion is a very big part of the game and you can only maintain it for so long before wisp of smoke come out your ears.

we were extremely soft on 3rd down vs UNC. Noted and Fixed. PP and Mo are up tight almost all game every game now. Love the blitzes too. I'm glad we got burned on the screens on 3rd down a few times by McNeese so we can fix that issue for Auburn as well.
