Although the RB position in the NFL has been greatly devalued recently

For good reason, most NFL Rbs don't last long and the league isn't a run first league anymore. There is not a single RB the last 5 years I'd take in the first round, they are just not used that way anymore.

Glad the NCAA still has some integrity left, all waivers should be denied if you transfer DI-A/FBS to DI-A/FBS unless there is a serious health issue in the family AND the college is close to said family member.

I think he was trying to say a grandparent was ill but I don't think it was serious. The rule was put in place for situations that are identical to Jay Prosch (trans. fullback from Illinois).

I guess I'm a petty individual because I'm glad his waiver was denied.

I do hope he grows up and turns it around. It would be a shame to watch him squander his talents to bad decisions.

I'm afraid that without football this year, you could see him get into some trouble. Gus better keep him close to the program IMHO.

But coaches should get to "transfer" without question, right?

Dyer put the strangest run on those guys I have ever seen. I am sure there were some butthurt ducks on that one. It won Auburn the NC.

He didn't realize he wasn't down, stopped on play so the defense let up....and then he was off to the races. Great call on the field; nobody realized there wasn't a whistle

Williams was down because his wrist touched the field. Anything other than the Hand or Foot causes the ball to be dead.

It was because of the wrist and the ball.

They like to bitch because dyers inside wrist touches the ground. But was not a ball hand. Obvious difference is obvious.
