Still a one sport school. Your banner sport far out does the other two, which is the same for us.

LSU found a sport in college baseball that they can dominate at because no one else gives a shite about shite tier baseball.

They made a commitment to baseball in the 90's when they were the SEC doormat in football. The athletic department at LSU said let's focus on baseball. It's cheap, no one else cares about, so let's spend extra money on a cheap arse 3rd tier college sport and try to be good at it.

bingo!

It's raining. And it's 5th tier baseball. And why is your life so boring that you are watching the Alabama/Vandy college baseball game on a Saturday.

Because it's raining?

Why would I sit in the rain for a baseball game?

The fact that it was on TV had to hurt too. I mean, it was certainly easier to avoid the rain by sitting here and watching it.

Not sure about the attendance but I enjoyed the 3 game series we played this season against Alabama in Hoover. Having the full hookups for the RV within walking distance of the stadium was nice.

It's a meaningless game. Vandy is going to win the CWS regardless. Title defense, bitches. I can count on one hand the number of NCAA titles we've failed to defend.

It's funny

The Big 12 baseball championship came down to the TCU-Oklahoma series in Norman this past weekend and TCU fans were bitching that no Oklahoma fans showed up even though the conference title was on the line

People need to realize that most just don't care about college baseball. There is football, basketball, and the rest

Basketball? Are you shitting me? The SEC has 100,000 fans pile in stadiums every game throughout the conference.

shite in 2013 LSU averaged like 850 in the P-Mac for basketball lol

I have found AA games to be more entertaining then college baseball. And yes, I have attended multiple games of both.

We have to at least try to be competitive.

Also...that stadium is very close to the Mal Moore Athletic Facility - a place where every blue chip football recruit comes through to tour the facilities. If they see a rundown baseball facility just a stone's throw away, what kind of message does that send?

It looks like there is about 30 people there. WTF?

Baseball sucks and most Bama fans don't give a frick about it.

I thought this was common knowledge.
