LSU found a sport in college baseball that they can dominate at because no one else gives a shite about shite tier baseball.
They made a commitment to baseball in the 90's when they were the SEC doormat in football. The athletic department at LSU said let's focus on baseball. It's cheap, no one else cares about, so let's spend extra money on a cheap arse 3rd tier college sport and try to be good at it.
